mimijumi Breastfeeding Friendly Premises Campaign

With UK breastfeeding rates currently one of the lowest in the world according to a recent report published by The Lancet, and breastfeeding mothers often made to feel unwelcome and even shamed when breastfeeding publicly, we wanted to do something positive to redress the balance and to encourage cafes, bars and restaurants to create safe spaces in which mums and their babies are welcomed.

Our mimijumi Breastfeeding Friendly Premises campaign has been rolled out with great success in cafes, bars and restaurants in our home town of Bridgnorth, and with your help we intend to extend the scheme throughout the UK.

We'd very much like to thank all the Bridgnorth businesses who are participating in the scheme, in particular Bec's Coffee Shop and The Friars Inn who kindly hosted us during filming for ITV News Central.
